The
Challenge Medal: Offered
on A and B days. Fences 3'3" in height, three riders
must complete the course for the class to fill. Two or more rider
to work off, tests 1-19. Jumper type fences are allowed with the
exception of water, liverpools, and banks. Riders competing in
the Challenge Medal may not have won a 3'6" medal finals.
Points are awarded 10, 6, 4, 2, 1. 10 points to qualify for finals.
Riders may continue to compete all year.
17
& Under Medal: Offered on A and B days.
Fences 3' in height, 3 riders must complete the over fences and
flat phase for the class to fill. The over fences counts 60%, the
flat phase counts 40%. There is no work off. Riders may not
have won a 3'6" medal prior to qualifying for the SFVHSA
17 & Under Medal. Points are awarded 10, 6, 4, 2, 1.
10 points to qualify for finals. Riders may continue to compete
until they win the qualifying class on an A day.

& Over Medal: The specs are the same as the 17
& Under Medal.

& Under Medal: Fences 2'6" The specs
are the same as the 18 & Over with the exceptions that there are
no combinations allowed on course, riders may not have competed in classes
where the fences may be set at 3'3" or higher.

Over Horsemanship Medal: Fences 2'6", specs the
same as the 17 & Under medal except riders may not compete in classes
where fences may be set at 3' or higher. Riders must remain
eligible through the finals.
Futures
Medal: Fences 2'3" in height, three riders must
complete the course. Work off will be built into the course. Riders
will not be asked to ride without stirrup. Riders may not have competed
in a class where fences may be set over 2'6". Points are awarded
10, 6, 4, 2, 1. Riders may continue to compete all year.
